Jack G. Murrin is a well-known financial educator and Chief Financial Officer in the South Carolina “Upstate” (Greenville, Spartanburg, Anderson, Greer) and is President of AmeriPlan Advisors, LLC. His expertise is helping retirees and those soon to retire avoid common, costly financial mistakes. Jack has advised many retirees and pre-retirees, including past employees of U.S. Government agencies, branches of the military services, DuPont, IBM, and many others. He has been assisting investors for over ten years.

Jack is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®), and a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). To become a Certified Financial Planner, Jack completed an extensive program of study proving his expertise in many financial disciplines related to taxes, retirement, estate, investment and other issues faced by seniors. Jack graduated summa cum laude from Indiana University in 1975 with a Master of Business Administration degree in Accounting and earned his Bachelor’s of Science degree in Finance and Math from the University of Maryland. He serves on the Board of Trustees for The Blood Connection. 

Jack and his wife Nancy have a son and two daughters and live in Greenville, SC.
